JOSH KERR REACTS TO WINNING COMMONWEALTH GAMES GOLD IN THE MILE
”I mean (it means) everything," he told TNT Sports at Scotstoun.
"This was the Championships of my season. World Indoors and going after it in London and everything, (but) this was the one we had circled on the calendar way before any of that.
"I didn’t put my performance together like I wanted to in 2022 and I think a British crowd deserves more from me, so I owed them that for sure."
Asked if it gets any better than that, he added: "No, it doesn't. This is absolutely incredible.
"To do it in front of a Scottish crowd where I learned how to race. I came here week after week growing up as a kid and we are very fortunate in Scotland to have great facilities and things, but to have a home Games like this, hopefully we can continue that with the depth of the athletes coming through."
