England went top of Group B at the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup after recording a 10-wicket victory over Scotland in Sharjah. The victory means that Heather Knight's side can guarantee their place in the knockout stages with a victory over West Indies in their match on October 15. Kathryn Bryce registered 33 runs for Scotland, while Maia Bouchie led the way with the bat for England with 62.

England are one win away from the semi-finals of the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup after a 10-wicket triumph over Scotland in Sharjah.
Kathryn Bryce top-scored for Scotland with 33, while her sister Sarah made 27, as her side left England with a target of 110 to win the match and secure their third victory in Group B.
Heather Knight's side responded in style, reaching their target in 10 overs to move one step closer to the knockout stages.
Scotland reached 38-0 before Saskia Horley, who had struggled to pierce the field, took a wild swipe at a Nat Sciver-Brunt delivery, only to be caught by Sophie Ecclestone after making 13 off 23 balls.
It was 50-2 shortly after when Amy Jones stumped Sarah Bryce after a superb piece of bowling from Ecclestone.
Ailsa Lister was caught by Knight as England started to build some momentum with the ball, and Scotland were 77-4 when Lorna Jack-Brown was bowled by Lauren Bell for a three-ball duck.
Kathryn Bryce's innings was ended by some fine bowling from Charlie Dean before Darcey Carter was caught by Maia Bouchier off Ecclestone as Scotland's effort petered out and saw them post 109-6 from their 20 overs.

Bouchier and Danni Wyatt-Hodge wasted no time in winning the match for their side.
The duo hit 62 and 51 runs respectively as England won the match after 60 deliveries - with their efforts a massive boost to their run-rate.
Scotland captain Kathryn Bryce insists it was an honour to lead the team despite a difficult tournament.
"I think it has been a pretty tough tournament in general for us," she said. "I think it is just a massive honour to be here and lead the squad out at a tournament like this.
"There are lessons that can be taken out of it moving forward.
"I think it is just the basics, getting them right every time and doing them with real quality over and over again."

England captain Knight revealed that her side wanted the match to finish early so some members of the squad could watch rock band Kasabian play live.
"I am really pleased," she said. "A few of us have got tickets to Kasabian tonight.
"We are glad we finished early so we can make it on time.
"I thought we may have given them a few too many [runs], but we actually did not.
"I think we bowled brilliantly in the conditions and then yeah, just pure class from those two [Bouchier and Wyatt-Hodge]."
England play West Indies in their final group game knowing avoiding defeat would take them into the semi-finals, while a narrow loss could also see them progress.
