The UAE Team Emirates-XRG rider has already won Milano-Sanremo and the Tour of Flanders this spring, claiming victory in the latter for the third time in four years.

Following his triumphs at last season's Liege-Bastogne-Liege and Il Lombardia, the 27-year-old now has the chance to make history and hold all five Monument crowns.

To do so, he needs to conquer the Paris-Roubaix cobbles for the first time in his career and prevent Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Premier Tech) from securing a fourth successive win.

Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek), who finished third in 2024 and 2025, will also be targeting glory, while Wout van Aert (Visma-Lease a Bike) and Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers) could also be in contention.

In the women's race, Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (Visma-Lease a Bike) will look to defend her title, but can expect pressure from former champion Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx-Protime).

The 2026 Paris-Roubaix men’s and women’s races will take place on Sunday, April 12.

The men's race will be live on TNT Sports 1 and HBO Max. Coverage begins at 09:30 UK time, with the action getting underway approximately half an hour later.

Coverage of the women's race begins at 16:00 on TNT Sports 1 and HBO Max.

Who is racing at Paris-Roubaix?

The men’s race looks destined to be a showdown between some of the very best riders in the sport.

Van der Poel and Pogacar are likely to go to the wire as they both chase glory on the iconic French cobbles.

For Pogacar, it would be his first win at the event as he looks to become the first man to hold all five Monument titles at the same time. For Van der Poel, it would be a record-equalling fourth victory.

However, a resurgent Van Aert will also want to have a say in the race's outcome, while Pedersen and Ganna cannot be ruled out given their pedigree. Pedersen was cruelly denied by a puncture last year.

The women’s race will also feature the world’s best, including defending champion Ferrand-Prevot, who famously said the race was a "training" ride for the Tour de France Femmes, which she also won.

Former winners Kopecky and Elisa Longo Borghini (UAE Team ADQ) are also in the field. No woman has ever won the race twice in its short five-year history.
