The Ukrainian side defeated Serbian outfit Partizan Belgrade 3-0, as part of a record-breaking two-leg victory. Elsewhere on Wednesday evening, FCSB left it late against Maccabi Tel Aviv, PAOK sneaked an away win versus Borac, and Ludogorets held off Dinamo Minsk.

Rangers will face Dynamo Kyiv in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League after the Ukrainian side enjoyed a record-breaking night in Belgrade.
Philippe Clement’s men are four matches away from returning to the Champions League group stage after a season’s absence, though find themselves in the trickier League Path.
Reserved for non-champions in top 14 leagues like France, Portugal, Belgium and Turkey, Rangers will first have to make it past Ukrainian runners-up Dynamo Kyiv, who beat Partizan 3-0 on Wednesday.
In combination with their 6-2 first-leg victory, the Ukrainians became the first side to put nine past Partizan in a two-legged European tie, as per Richard Wilson.
Former West Ham United forward Andriy Yarmolenko opened the scoring in the Serbian capital, before Ukraine international Vladyslav Vanat put the result on the night beyond all doubt.
Fellow national team star Oleksandr Karavayev rounded off the scoring late on to set up a clash with Rangers, who they will face on Tuesday, August 6 in the first leg.
As many as six of Dynamo’s players were selected in Ukraine’s Euro 2024 squad, including captain Yarmolenko and dangerous young striker Vanat.

Elsewhere, FCSB of Romania avoided extra-time to squeeze past Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-0 in Budapest.

Greek champions PAOK also sealed an away win, with a solitary first-half goal from Austrian Thomas Murg enough to knock out Bosnian title-holders Borac Banja Luka 4-2 on aggregate.
Ludogorets Razgrad, who secured their 13th league title in a row last season, had to hold off Dinamo Minsk for the best part of an hour to ensure their safe passage.
Playing in Hungary for their home leg, Minsk scored after 37 minutes through Ivan Bakhar to reduce the aggregate score to 2-1, but could not find an equaliser against the Bulgarian champions.
And finally, there were comfortable home wins for Midtylland of Denmark and Polish title-winners Jagiellonia Bialystok against Andorra’s Santa Coloma and Lithuanian side Panevezys, respectively.
