Nottingham Forest's relentless pursuit of UEFA Champions League qualification continued as they earned a 4-2 victory at Ipswich Town.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side, third in the Premier League table, put on a commanding display in East Anglia, with Anthony Elanga netting a brace to complement Nikola Milenkovic's opener and Jota Silva's strike three minutes from time.

Jens Cajuste robbed Matz Sels of his clean sheet with eight minutes to play, and George Hirst rose off the bench to notch a consolation for Kieran McKenna's hosts.

Ivan Juric's Saints remain mired to the foot of the table on nine points after they were defeated at St Marys' Stadium by two goals from Jorgen Strand Larsen.

In the afternoon's other bottom-half clash, Jake O'Brien scored in the first minute of stoppage time to salvage a share of the spoils for Everton against Graham Potter's West Ham, who had initially led through Tomas Soucek on 67 minutes when the Czech turned neatly and slotted past Jordan Pickford.

However, the Hammers could not hold on, and Irishman O'Brien nodded home from close range to earn a valuable point for the home side, who move above David Moyes' former employers Manchester United on goal difference into 14th.

Manchester City, meanwhile, were held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion, after Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush saw their strikes cancelled out by Pervis Estupinian and Abdukodir Khusanov's own goal.
