West Ham boost survival hopes with late win over Everton as Spurs toil to victory at Wolves - Premier League round-up

Tottenham Hotspur's hopes of staving off top-flight relegation for the first time in 49 years took a blow after victory over already-relegated Wolves was scuppered by West Ham's dramatic victory over Everton.

Spurs still sit in 18th place despite their first Premier League win of 2026 at Molineux courtesy of Palhinha's strike, which seemed to ignite hopes of avoiding a first relegation since 1977.

Meanwhile, Palhinha's close-range effort with eight minutes remaining gave Roberto De Zerbi his first win as Spurs boss, with the North London club securing victory some 118 days after their last against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Liverpool go fourth but Salah injured

Liverpool consolidated their position in the UEFA Champions League spots with a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Arne Slot's side raced into a two-goal lead in the first half thanks to goals from Alexander Isak and Andrew Robertson.
