When is the Manchester derby?
Manchester United will host their city rivals for bragging rights early in the season on the weekend of September 12, before the reverse fixture takes place on the weekend of March 20.
City won 3-0 at home in the first meeting between the sides during the 2025/26 PL campaign, while United evened the score with a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford.
When is Manchester United v Liverpool?
Manchester United's fixtures against Liverpool next season fall quite close together. The first of them is at Anfield on the weekend of November 21, before they welcome their rivals to Old Trafford on the weekend of January 23.
The Red Devils won both of the fixtures last season.
When did Manchester United last win the Premier League?
Manchester United have endured something of a slump since the departure of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of the 2012/13 season.
The club has still won two FA Cups, two Carabao Cups and the UEFA Europa League in the post-Fergie era, but another Premier League crown has eluded them.
They finished second in 2017/18 under Jose Mourinho and then again in 2020/21 with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the helm, but neither of them were serious title challenges.
There is optimism ahead of the new season, however. The arrival of Michael Carrick sparked an upturn in form as the former Red Devil led the club to a third-place finish last season and a return to the Champions League.
The last time United lifted the Premier League trophy was at the end of the Ferguson reign in 2012/13, but there is renewed hope a 21st domestic crown could be on the horizon.
