Wolverhampton Wanderers will host Liverpool for the second time in four days on Friday as the pair meet in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
The West Midlands side welcomed Arne Slot’s men to Molineux in the Premier League on Tuesday, and gave themselves a glimmer of hope in the relegation battle by shocking the reigning champions with a 2-1 win.
The two teams will resume battle just three days later with a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals on the line.
Rob Edwards’ side will hope the competition can provide some cause for optimism in an otherwise dismal campaign, having been rooted to the foot of the Premier League since August and still a long way from safety.
Wolves will be cautiously hopeful of a quickfire double over the Reds, which would inject some much-needed positivity as they edge closer to relegation.
Liverpool, meanwhile, had started building some momentum ahead of the business end of the campaign, with four wins on the spin across all competitions, before Wolves brought them crashing back down to earth.

Wolves are hoping to reach the last eight of the FA Cup for the second time in three seasons, while eight-time winners Liverpool will be targeting a first triumph since the 2021/22 campaign.
