Villa set price for Duran
Jhon Duran’s success at Aston Villa has attracted plenty of suitors, but his club want £80 million before they consider selling - according to reports.
The striker represents the chance for Villa to make a healthy profit after signing him for £15m, and Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr are one team in the running.
The Telegraph reports: "Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr are preparing an official offer for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran after bids for the Colombia international from West Ham United were turned down earlier this week.
"Duran, 21, has been identified by Cristiano Ronaldo’s club to bolster their front line this month but are aware a deal worth around £80 million will be needed for there to be any chance of tempting Villa to the table.
"With Ronaldo and Sadio Mane in their forward line, Al Nassr have been looking at central strikers to support their attacking players for the second half of the season as they look to get closer to Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad and better their second-placed finish from the last campaign."
Man Utd make bid for Dorgu
The Athletic claims that Manchester United have made a bid of around £25 million for Patrick Dorgu.
The Lecce wing-back could be a solution to address the injury problems faced by both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
The website reports: "Manchester United have tabled a €30 million (£25.3m; $31.4m) bid for Lecce wing-back Patrick Dorgu.
"The Athletic reported on January 22 that the two clubs were €10m apart in negotiations for the Denmark international, who Lecce priced at €40m while United indicated a willingness to go to €30m.
"United’s director of negotiations Matt Hargreaves met with Lecce sporting director Pantaleo Corvino in Milan.
"Figures at United are hopeful that a deal will be agreed and if one is, Dorgu would become the first senior arrival at Old Trafford under head coach Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese has been keen to add reinforcements in the January window amid a run of form that has seen his side slip to just 10 points above the Premier League’s relegation zone."
Fulham target Van Ewijk
Premier League side Fulham are keen on Coventry full-back Milan van Ewijk as Kenny Tete recovers from his knee injury, according to the Evening Standard.
Fulham have tracked the player since his time at Heerenveen, and Coventry hope to keep him until the summer.
The Standard writes: "Fulham are interested in Milan van Ewijk as they consider strengthening at right-back.
"A knee injury will keep Kenny Tete out until late March or early April, and sporting director Tony Khan is now monitoring options at right-back, where Timothy Castagne has been starting while Tete is sidelined.
"Standard Sport understands Fulham first made their interest in Van Ewijk known back when the Dutchman was at Heerenveen between 2021 and 2023, when he then joined Coventry.
"The 24-year-old has been an ever-present in all competitions for Coventry this season and is understood to be keen to finish the season with them.
"But Fulham have once again reiterated that they consider Van Ewijk a target, either for this month or the summer."
Chelsea one of several clubs chasing Yun
Do-young Hun is attracting interest from across Europe, with at least four Premier League sides in the frame.
Yun has impressed for Daejeon Hana Citizen since breaking through, and Chelsea, Brighton, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all mentioned by The Mirror as potential suitors.
The paper states: "Brighton and Aston Villa are among a list of clubs showing interest in 18-year-old South Korean sensation Do-young Yun.
"Daejeon Hana Citizen's exciting teenage prodigy is being tracked by a number of Premier League sides and background talks have been taking place in recent weeks ahead of a potential switch to England.
"South Korean sources believe the Seagulls are currently leading the charge for Yun's signature having already previously had transfer success in Asia following the impressive £2.7million capture of Kaoru Mitoma from Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale in 2021.
"But it's understood Yun's representatives were also at Villa's Bodymoor Heath training ground for discussions earlier this week and there has also been rival interest from Europe.
"Chelsea have also made scouting checks on the player, according to South Korean sources while Wolves have also been linked with a swoop in recent months."
