The English transfer window may be closed but Kieran Trippier has reportedly found himself a new club after agreeing terms with Turkish side Eyupspor. Elsewhere, Newcastle and Peterborough United are set to make money from Ivan Toney's departure from Brentford to Al Ahli, and former Manchester United and England defender Chris Smalling is on the verge of leaving Roma.

Trippier nears Newcastle exit
Kieran Trippier is on the verge of moving to the Turkish Super Lig, according to reports.
The Newcastle full-back - who called time on his international career last week - has apparently agreed terms with Eyupspor.
"Kieran Trippier could still make a shock exit from Newcastle United, after reports in Turkey say The Magpies' right-back has agreed personal terms with Super Lig club, Eyupspor," reads an article in the Mail.
"Speculation around a move for Trippier away from St James' Park has been rife this summer, and it's believed it could yet happen, despite the transfer window in the UK closing last Friday.
"Like many other European clubs, the Turkish transfer window is open for nearly two weeks, so any outgoing deal for the 33-year-old remains possible.
"According to Turkish journalist, Resat Can Ozbudak, Istanbul-based side Eyupspor - who are currently managed by the former Atletico Madrid and Barcelona star, Arda Turan - has already agreed terms with the player.
"The report does not indicate whether any move would be a permanent sale or a loan, only that Trippier is currently negotiating his current contract with Newcastle.
"It's believed Trippier has wanted to leave Newcastle since finishing international duty with England at the Euros, and his wantaway stance has only intensified since the new Premier League season started in August."
Newcastle to receive funds from Toney sale
Newcastle and League One side Peterborough United are set to benefit from Ivan Toney's departure from Brentford.
The Sun suggests Peterborough will earn around £4 million after Toney sealed a deal to sign for Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli - although they will have to give £1m to Newcastle.
"Peterborough are set to land about £4 million from Ivan Toney’s transfer deadline move - although they must give some of the money to Newcastle," states the outlet.
"Posh sold the striker to Brentford for £6m in 2020 although they have banked a further £4m in add-ons.
"And they will get a similar amount now, although the League One club will also have to give about £1m of that to Newcastle as part of the deal which took Toney to London Road from the North East in 2018.
"Peterborough signed Toney, 28, from Newcastle for just £350,000."
Smalling set for Saudi move
Former Manchester United and England defender Chris Smalling is set to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Fayha, according to the Daily Star.
The report claims Roma will replace the 34-year-old with Mats Hummels, who is a free agent after leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
The article states: "Smalling is now poised to sign a reported two-year deal in the Middle East, and Roma boss Daniele De Rossi has already supposedly been told who will come in to replace the Englishman, with World Cup-winning German Mats Hummels primed to arrive in Italy after finding himself without a club this summer.
"While European transfer windows have closed, Saudi's market remains open. Smalling will reportedly travel with his current side for their clash against Juventus before jetting off for a medical with his prospective new club.
"With the Englishman's contract due to run out next season the decision has been made to offload Smalling, who made over 150 appearances for the Italian outfit.
"Hummels, currently a free agent, has been tipped as a replacement, after a deadline deal for Juventus centre-back Tiago Djalo collapsed."
