TNT Sports understands that Liverpool are not interested in signing Sporting CP star striker Viktor Gyokeres, while Napoli are keen on Darwin Nunez.
The Premier League champions have been very active in the summer transfer window so far after signing Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, with Milos Kerkez close to finalising a move to Anfield.
However, TNT Sports can reveal that Gyokeres is not part of Liverpool's plans, despite reports in Portugal suggesting that the striker is a target for the Reds this summer.
The Sweden international has become one of the most coveted strikers in world football after impressing during his two seasons at Sporting.
Gyokeres scored 54 goals in 52 games last season as Sporting sealed a league and cup double, despite Ruben Amorim leaving the club midway through the season to take charge of Manchester United.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and Arsenal this summer, with the Gunners reportedly leading the race for the striker.
It has been reported that Gyokeres is unhappy with Sporting after club president Frederico Varandas denied there was a "gentleman’s agreement" in place, and the player would be allowed to leave for £58 million.

The Italian champions have wasted no time in adding to their squad this summer by acquiring free agent Kevin de Bruyne after his departure from Manchester City.
Napoli are keen to add Nunez to their squad, although they will face stiff competition for his signature, as several clubs are also monitoring the Uruguay international's situation at Anfield.
Nunez contributed with seven goals and seven assists in all competitions last season, and only made eight starts in 30 league games under Arne Slot.
