At least five Saudi Pro League sides are reportedly keen on signing Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah this January, while Chelsea could eventually take Mohamed Zongo from Ligue 1 side Strasbourg if he impresses in France. Elsewhere, Manchester United defender Harry Amass will reportedly learn his long-term future next year as his Sheffield Wednesday loan continues.

Five clubs want Salah
Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, Al Ahli and Al Qadsiah are all prepared to make a move to sign Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, according to reports.
Liverpool do not want to let the Egyptian forward go cheaply if they decide to sell up after his recent outburst.
The reports follow Salah's explosive interview following the 3-3 draw with Leeds, in which he claimed he had been "thrown under the bus" and that his relationship with manager Arne Slot had broken down.
The Telegraph explains: "Liverpool’s position is that Salah is under contract until 2027 and the club have no desire to give any potential acquiring clubs the sense that Salah has no way back at Anfield.
"The optics of the player on the pitch waving goodbye to the fans would work against Liverpool in any negotiations for a fee, which the club believe they would be due should Salah leave.
"Saudi clubs have funds to land Salah despite scaling back their spending on transfers, and there is widespread interest in bringing him to the Middle East for his profile "on and off the pitch".
"Four clubs – Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli – are owned by the country’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) but other clubs willing to move for Salah include Al Qadsiah, who are linked to state-owned energy giant Aramco. A source told AFP clubs are ready to do ‘whatever it takes’ to sign the forward, who is arguably the most recognisable Muslim footballer in the world."
Chelsea prepare Zongo transfer
Strasbourg have arranged a deal to sign Mohamed Zongo from Sporting Football Cascades, but Chelsea could also make a move.
The Standard reports that as Chelsea and Strasbourg are sister clubs, there is an easy path for him to progress.
The paper writes: "The BlueCo consortium that owns Chelsea has agreed to sign Mohamed Zongo, with the 16-year-old prodigy to first join Strasbourg after his 18th birthday and potentially Chelsea further down the line.

"Standard Sport has been told that when Zongo turns 18 in November 2027 he will be available to join Strasbourg, Chelsea’s sister club, from January 2028.
"He will be monitored by Chelsea staff during his time in France, as well as before the move, with an eye to becoming a Chelsea signing of the future if he continues to progress.
"Zongo starred for Burkina Faso on their run to the quarter-finals of the Under-17 World Cup. The midfielder, who currently plays for Sporting Football Cascades, scored the winner as his nation stunned Germany in the round of 16."
Amass could remain at Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday reportedly want to keep Manchester United defender Harry Amass on loan until the end of the current season.
Amass is playing regularly at the Championship side, and United will decide whether to sell him next year.
The Sun reports: "Sheffield Wednesday are still hopeful of keeping Manchester United youngster Harry Amass on loan for the remainder of the season.
"Amass, 18, is on a season-long loan at the Championship club, who are on -9 points after they were deducted a total of 18 points for going into administration and payment failures.
"United loanees have often switched clubs midway through a season but Amass is assured of regular playing time at Wednesday, which could ultimately be the deciding factor.
"United are expected to make a definitive decision on whether to keep or sell Amass next year as his contract expires in 2027."
Wolves set for transfer overhaul
Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to make changes to their approach to recruitment as they struggle in the Premier League.
Their summer spending has not impressed with its results this campaign, as they sit bottom of the Premier League, which is now leading to changes.
The Daily Mail states: "Wolves plan to overhaul their recruitment strategy after mistakes made in the summer window left them with one foot in the Championship.
"The club have only two points from their opening 15 matches and have lost all four games since Rob Edwards replaced Vitor Pereira as coach, starting at Premier League leaders Arsenal on December 13.
"Following the sales of key players Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri last summer, Wolves spent £122 million trying to rebuild the squad but the new players, with the exception of Ladislav Krejci, have struggled to make an impact.
"Wolves know they need to reset at many levels and will give greater responsibility to their own recruitment staff as they look to the January transfer window and beyond."
