Ederson could be replaced by Donnarumma
Gianluigi Donnarumma could replace Ederson as Manchester City’s goalkeeper this season, according to reports.
The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has been left out of the club’s squad to play Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday – a match that will be shown live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
It appears the Italian’s time with the Ligue 1 champions is coming to an end, sparking rumours about where he could end up next.
French outlet RMC Sport claims Man City have made Donnarumma their priority, should Ederson leave the club.
"Manchester City have already begun talks with the Italian's entourage, who is also highly regarded by Pep Guardiola," reads the RMC article.
"The agreement between Donnarumma and City will not pose a problem, as the player is very interested in City. The Citizens will make an offer to PSG if Ederson leaves."
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano claims PSG are requesting ÂŁ43 million for Donnarumma, a fee City feel is too high.
"Chelsea are not in the race," adds Romano.

Bayern given Woltemade ultimatum
Through most of the summer, German champions Bayern Munich have been chasing 23-year-old forward Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart.
However, BILD report that Stuttgart have given Bayern an ultimatum with regards to the move.
"Do Bayern Munich really have only the next four days to seal the transfer of Nick Woltemade? If Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle has his way, the answer is: yes!" writes the publication.
"At a talk hosted by Stuttgarter Zeitung, the VfB chairman spoke openly about the tug-of-war over the attacking star.
"Wehrle said: 'If you really want to sign the player, you should also be capable of finding a solution within that time frame. We’re playing the [German] Supercup on Saturday. Everything should be settled no later than kick-off.'
"Translation: If there’s no 'exceptional offer' from Munich in the next four days, Woltemade will stay at VfB. The Supercup against Bayern kicks off Saturday evening in Stuttgart.
"After that, the national team player will be off the market. Wehrle continued: 'Exactly — I’ll be focusing on the game then. In the days after, we’ll prepare for Union Berlin, then Braunschweig, then Gladbach. We’re looking at a stretch of six and a half weeks now. At some point, enough is enough.'"
Hojlund linked with Bayern switch
It is still unclear what future Rasmus Hojlund has at Manchester United, particularly with the arrival of Benjamin Sesko, but could he move to the Bundesliga?
Sky Germany (via GGFN) are reporting that Hojlund has been offered to Bayern on loan with an option to buy as a potential alternative to the aforementioned Woltemade.
However, the report also says that Bayern are yet to show interest in signing the Denmark international.

Galatasaray in talks to sign Pavard
Galatasaray are in negotiations to sign Benjamin Pavard from Inter Milan, reports L’Equipe.
A number of clubs are said to be interested in the France defender, particularly those in the Premier League and La Liga, but Galatasaray are leading the race to capture his signature.
L’Equipe adds that it would be "one of the most unexpected transfers" of this summer’s transfer window, and "very difficult to pull off – but not completely impossible".
The 29-year-old signed from Bayern Munich in 2023 and has since won the Supercoppa Italiana and 2023/24 Serie A title.
