Liverpool’s experienced goalkeeper Alisson could be on his way to Serie A in the summer, leading to press conference questions for head coach Arne Slot.

Slot was non-committal but the Daily Mail explains that Juventus are keen on the 33-year-old stopper.
The paper writes: ”The injury-hit No. 1 goalkeeper, currently out of action again for the Reds, is a target for Juventus and Slot was asked about the Brazilian's future on Friday.
”Alisson has proven himself as a world-class operator at Anfield since signing for £67 million from Roma back in 2018 before going on to win every trophy at the club.
”The 33-year-old has made 332 appearances for the Reds and is close to returning to fitness, with No. 2 Giorgi Mamardashvili also out of action.”
Gomes in talks with Atleti
Atletico Madrid are reported to be in talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Joao Gomes.
The Sun says that Wolves want £40 million for the player who is also wanted by Manchester United in the summer.
The paper explains: ”Manchester United transfer target Joao Gomes has reportedly opened talks with Atletico Madrid.
”Gomes is one of the players who looks more likely to leave Wolves following the confirmation of their relegation earlier this week.
”He has attracted a lot of interest from Europe’s top clubs. Wolves value him at £40m after signing the Brazilian for £15m from Flamengo in 2023.
”Diego Simeone‘s side will look to get the deal done before other big clubs come knocking.”
Arsenal keen on Araujo
Arsenal are believed to be interested in Sporting CP’s Uruguayan wing-back Maxi Araujo but may face competition.
Chelsea have also been linked with the player, who operates at left-back for his club but further forward for his national team.
The Daily Star states: ”Arsenal are said to have initiated contact with Sporting CP wing-back Maxi Araujo.
”The Uruguayan star, who is also reportedly a target for Chelsea, has been a standout performer for the Lisbon side since joining from Toluca in 2024 after an impressive Copa America.
”Araujo primarily plays as a winger for his country, but he is a left-back at club level. And the versatile player has bagged six goals and registered four assists in all competitions this term.”
United set for huge overhaul
There are 13 players who could leave Manchester United this summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Tyler Fredricson, Toby Collyer and Dan Gore are three youngsters who may depart, with more senior figures leading the report.
The paper notes: ”Some big names will be among those who go through the exit door, including Casemiro, who will leave when his contract expires.
”United would also like to offload Marcus Rashford, who is currently on £300,000 per week.
”Like Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund and Jadon Sancho have spent the season on loan. Tyrell Malacia was in the 'bomb squad' alongside Sancho last summer.
”United will look to offload Andre Onana on a permanent transfer and recoup what they can of the £47.2m they paid to sign the goalkeeper from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023.
”Radek Vitek will get the chance to feature in pre-season after impressing on loan with Bristol City, however, the talented Czech goalkeeper wants to play consistently after playing two games per week in the Championship.
”It remains to be seen whether Altay Bayindir will switch clubs after another season warming the bench.
”There are question marks surrounding Joshua Zirkzee, who considered his future ahead of the winter window before being informed he would not be able to leave.
”Manuel Ugarte finds himself in a similar position to Zirkzee after making just eight league starts.”
