Manchester United are yet to interview anyone to replace Michael Carrick as manager in the summer, while Luis Enrique has made a decision in regards to his future. Elsewhere, five players are under consideration to replace Mohamed Salah at Liverpool as he moves closer to a switch to a MLS side in the United States when he departs Anfield.

Enrique drops out of Utd race
Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique will soon be out of contention to step in at Manchester United.
The Spaniard looks set to extend his stay at the current European champions in the French capital.
The i Paper states: ”Michael Carrick is closing in on becoming the next permanent Manchester United manager as another of his rivals for the job appears set to pull out of the race.
”The i Paper has been told by several sources that Luis Enrique is one of the top picks to take the Old Trafford hotseat at the end of the season, but it appears, just as was the case with other leading candidates Thomas Tuchel and Carlo Ancelotti, that United will again be forced to look elsewhere.
”Sources in Paris are adamant that Enrique will sign a new deal at Paris Saint-Germain beyond his current contract, which expires in 2027.
”Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who has been in and out of Qatar in recent weeks to keep his family safe from the conflict in neighbouring Iran, is also keen to secure Enrique’s long-term future.”

United yet to interview candidates
Manchester United have not interviewed any candidates for the full-time managerial job at Old Trafford.
With Michael Carrick doing well and previous targets not available or not considered, there is little concrete action.
The Sun writes: ”Manchester United have not interviewed any external coaches about taking over from Michael Carrick in the summer.
”Carrick will come under consideration to be installed on a full-time basis, having overseen seven wins, two draws and one defeat from ten games in charge.
”Oliver Glasner was admired by United earlier in the season but Crystal Palace’s dire domestic form has all but ended any chance of the Austrian heading to Old Trafford.
”Sir Gareth Southgate, Roberto de Zerbi and Thomas Frank are out of work and were all of interest to United when they planned to sack Erik ten Hag two years ago.
”But the trio are not considered to be in the running for the United job.”
Five on shortlist to replace Salah
Francisco Conceicao, Morgan Rogers, Bradley Barcola, Yan Diomande and Michael Olise are all potential options for Liverpool as they plan for next season.
The Mirror believes the five players are in the running to replace Mohamed Salah when he departs Anfield in the summer.
The paper explains: ”The Juventus star, who is expected to feature prominently for Portugal at the World Cup, is seen as a player capable of replicating the direct style that made Salah such a thorn in the side of Premier League defenders.
”Morgan Rogers is another player of interest after another stunning season for Aston Villa. The 23-year-old would command an astronomical transfer fee, though, after signing a new contract earlier this season.
”Bayern Munich's Michael Olise falls into a similar category; the former Crystal Palace man is a player Liverpool have taken a keen interest in and the winger has taken his game to another level since swapping the Premier League for the Bundesliga.
”Bradley Barcola is viewed as a more attainable option and has many admirers at Anfield, while Yan Diomande, a player also admired by Manchester United, is another attacker who Liverpool retain a live interest in.”
Salah linked with MLS switch
Mohamed Salah would consider a move within Europe when he leaves Liverpool, but there is also no clear path for a move to Saudi Arabia.
That has seen the United States become a potential destination for him in the summer.
The Athletic reports: ”While Salah enjoys playing in England and would be tempted by a move to another big European club, there is a lack of viable options, particularly in terms of clubs that could finance such a move.
”Paris Saint-Germain, who do have the financial clout, have moved away from the model of signing marquee names. They have prioritised younger talent and with such a gifted front line already, do not seem to have any need for Salah.
”Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are very well stocked in attack, and Barcelona’s financial issues would seem to rule out any chance of them making a move. Salah has already played in Serie A, with Roma and Fiorentina, but again, money issues would make a move to Italy unlikely.
”Multiple sources outside the U.S. have indicated that they view Major League Soccer as his most likely destination. It has previously appealed to Abbas, and MLS commissioner Don Garber said on Wednesday he would ‘love to see’ Salah move to America.”
