The BK8 Gresini rider was ruled out of the Italy and Hungary Grands Prix after a major crash with Pedro Acosta at last month's Catalan GP.
Marquez was closely chasing Acosta, and the latter's KTM appeared to suffer a brief but dramatic fault.
A short loss of pace caused Marquez’s Ducati to collide with the machine ahead of him, at such force that Acosta’s rear tyre burst.
Marquez was thrown off his bike and into the gravel, prompting a red flag. The Spaniard later underwent surgery after scans confirmed a fracture in a vertebra near his neck and a fracture in his right collarbone.
"Alex Marquez is set to return to action at the Czech GP, pending a final medical check," MotoGP posted on X.
Gresini posted: "After the latest medical checks in Spain, Alex Marquez will fly to Czech Republic this weekend with the aim of being declared fit."
Marquez's crash caused a lengthy pause as he received medical attention from staff at the track, and he was taken to hospital in Barcelona in an ambulance.
Following the incident, he posted on social media to assure fans he had "everything under control", and expressed his gratitude for "the loving messages".
Marquez, who finished as runner-up to brother Marc Marquez in the championship last year, sits ninth in the riders' standings this season.

In the aftermath of Alex's crash, TNT Sports expert Sylvain Guintoli explained the "dangerous" nature of such incidents.
”We really hope that there's nothing bad with Alex," Guintoli said.
"Unfortunately, when you have odd crashes like this, when you have speed differences like this, this is where really serious things can happen, so fingers crossed. It’s one of those where you just hope for no bad news.”
The Czech Grand Prix takes place from Friday to Sunday - live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.
