The second-ever Saudi Arabia Masters Snooker event takes place in Jeddah this year with over £2 million in prize money up for grabs. The ranking event will see 144 players from around the world aiming to win the "fourth major" in snooker, following its introduction to the calendar last year. Snooker is back in Saudi Arabia for its second snooker masters event.
Making its debut in 2024, the tournament is unofficially being referred to as the sport’s "fourth major", with a prize pot in excess of £2 million in Jeddah.
Judd Trump won the inaugural tournament last year and will be back to defend his crown against the likes of Ronnie O’Sullivan and reigning world champion Zhao Xintong.

The 2025 Saudi Arabia Masters will begin on Friday August 8 to Saturday August 16.

Who is playing at the 2025 Saudi Arabia Masters?
A total of 144 players will compete in the tournament, made up of 128 WST players and 16 wildcards from Saudi Arabia.
The earlier rounds will see this number whittled down to 16, joining the world’s top 16, who enter at the round of 32.
The top 16 are made up of defending champion Judd Trump, reigning world champion Zhao Xintong, Kyren Wilson, fresh off his Shanghai Masters victory, last year’s runner-up Mark Williams, John Higgins, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Ding Junhui, Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, Barry Hawkins, Mark Allen, Zhang Anda, Shaun Murphy, Si Jiahui, Chris Wakelin and Ali Carter.
