World No. 1 Judd Trump hit two centuries in a 5-1 win over Liu Hongyu with world champion Zhao Xintong producing two tons of his own in a 5-3 victory over Matthew Stevens, but world No. 2 Kyren Wilson is out after going down 5-2 to Irish hopeful Aaron Hill. Judd Trump enjoyed a two-ton 5-1 win over Liu Hongyu, who produced 119 in levelling at 1-1, before watching Trump roll in 119 and 111 on his way to securing a meeting with Jack Lisowski.

The pair will clash in the Wuhan Open last 32 at 12:30pm BST on Tuesday, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.

World champion Zhao Xintong hit two centuries of his own, 138 and 132, in a 5-3 victory over Matthew Stevens.

All a bit nervy now as Liu seems set to extend the contest, but misses straight blue. Could be fatal. And so it proves as Judd rams in blue with rest to green bag. In goes the pink to left centre. And that will be that. Judd through to face Jack Lisowski on Tuesday in round of 32.

Would you believe that? A huge fluke on a red by Liu, but then luck turns against him as he slots red only to pot brown in same shot. Weird old finale to this frame as we head for the colours. Judd failing to nail a tricky pot on yellow. Only needs yellow, green and brown, but he hits the brown instead of yellow with a safety attempt.

Still this fierce battle on the final two reds continues at pace. Judd handing back eight points in fouls with the reds close together on baulk cush.

World champion Zhao with breaks of 138, 132 and 76 to move clear of former Masters and UK champion Stevens, who had led 2-1.

Into the lead now as two reds are potting using his opposite hand. Crowd loved that little shot. Two for the price of one.

34 from Liu before he breaks down among balls. That level of scoring won't get the job down the local snooker club, never mind at this level. Will be fearing worst now as Judd returns to the baize. Chance to get frame and match won.

Fine cut on a long red by Liu to a blind pocket. That is an excellent pot. The Wuhan locals loved that effort. Now then. What can he conjure up here.

Hill 3-1 Wilson

Xi'an Grand Prix champion Kyren Wilson could be heading for the exit door in the round of 64. He trails Aaron Hill 3-1 with the Irish player producing breaks of 60, 55 and 124. Wilson needs snookers in frame five otherwise it will be 4-1.

An early battle to secure the first scoring chance. Judd happy to be patient. And his waiting game pays off as Liu fails to sink a long red and leaves an easy opener for Trump. Not on a colour though to follow. But he picks out a brilliant pot on a black along top cushion. That was a corker.

His meeting with Liu Hongyu will see the local player get plenty of support in Wuhan. They have only played once before with Trump winning 4-3 in the last 64 of the English Open last year.

Have to be happy with a win over the iconic Ding Junhui in his home country. The young man showing why he is tipped for a golden future on the old green baize.

Moody finishes this match off with a really impressive break of 77, and he is through to the next round with one of the most impressive victories of his career.

He will now face Zhou Yuelong, who beat Noppon Saengkham 5-1 on Sunday.

Ding 3-4 Moody (13-72)

Moody is forced to play down to baulk, but he can take the blue into the green pocket and is quickly back in prime position.

He lands slightly low on a red a couple of shots later, so needs to play a cannon off another red and up for the blue.

He only needs one more red, but lands tight to the side cushion after knocking the blue into the right centre. But he knocks the crucial ball into the left corner pocket and is now into snookers required territory!

Ding 3-4 Moody (13-43)

So, the black is available into both pockets and there is not a safe red on the table. Can Moody close it out this time?

He is taking these nicely at the moment, with a succession of reds and blacks quickly taking him 30 ahead.

Moody puts Ding in some trouble with a telling safety shot, but the home favourite somehow finds a path back to baulk, putting Moody in trouble of his own.

But the 18-year-old crunches a red into the right corner pocket, with little else on, and he lands on the yellow into the left centre.

He goes on the attack, potting the yellow and screwing back into the bunch. He gets his reward, left with a couple of reds.

Ding 3-4 Moody (13-0)

Ding loses position slightly and is forced to take on the red over the corner pocket from mid-distance using the rest.

The pot was no problem, but he could only leave the cue ball close to the side cushion. He doesn't even attempt a pot, playing safe off the yellow.

Moody knocks a red over the right corner pocket, but gets good length on the cue ball and has cover from the yellow.

Ding has a bit of a problem here, but he plays a good shot of his own, also landing behind the yellow.

So Moody is faced with the same issue, and opts for the long red rather than the safety, but he catches the jaws, and Ding has an easy starter into the green pocket.

This is a real test of Moody's character now, having had a wonderful chance to win this match but seeing it pass him by with a sloppy mistake.

Will he hold his nerve to clinch victory in this frame, or will Ding force the decider?

Moody pots the blue, meaning he now just needs one snooker on the pink to have a chance at levelling.

He fails to land the snooker on the first attempt, before Ding manages one of his own.

Moody escapes, but he leaves the pink on for his opponent, and it's put away into the left corner pocket, meaning Ding is back within one frame of the Englishman.

That will be really tough to take for the 18-year-old, who had a golden opportunity to seal a famous win. How can he respond?

Ding 2-4 Moody (67-43)

Ding holds his nerve to get to snookers required in this frame with yellow, green and brown, but he misses the blue, so Moody comes back to the table, trailing by 24, with 18 left on.

Ding 2-4 Moody (51-43)

Moody leaves Ding a pot into the right corner pocket, and it's put away by the Chinese player.

He takes the second red really nicely and looks set to take this frame now. What a blow this would be for the Englishman.

Ding 2-4 Moody (36-43)

What happened there? Moody looks set to take this frame and match, getting himself back in prime position.

But with a straight red into the corner pocket, he hits another red on the way through. There was a clear path to the pocket, so he just hit the red all wrong.

He gets away with it, though, leaving nothing on for Ding. But moments later, he plants the pink into the right corner, giving away six points. He is perhaps just feeling it out there as he approaches the winning line.

Ding 2-4 Moody (30-43)

Moody lands just on the wrong side of the blue, meaning his next red will be from a bid of a distance.

But he takes one near the right corner pocket, close to the cushion, and hits it really nicely to land on the black.

Ding 2-4 Moody (30-22)

Ding gets his safety shot all wrong, leaving Moody right in among the balls, and this is a huge chance for the 18-year-old.

Once again, Moody doesn't have total control over the cue ball, but after a couple of recovery shots, he lands nicely on the blue to get back in prime position.

There is nothing safe on the table now for the youngster.

Ding 2-4 Moody (30-0)

Moody misses a long red, catching the jaws of the right corner pocket, and Ding can pick out a thin red into the opposite corner.

He played it with safety in mind, though, sending the cue ball back to baulk and leaving himself without the option of a colour. So a safety off the yellow it is.

Ding looks to disturb the bottom of the pack as he pots the red, but he doesn't put enough on the shot and leaves himself really high on the black.

He opts against taking it on and decides to play safe instead.

Ding leaves himself too straight on the black, meaning he can only leave himself a tricky red into the right centre with awkward cuing, but he makes it and the break goes on.

Moody makes a superb total clearance of 131, and he is on the brink of a famous victory.

Ding 2-3 Moody (0-70)

Moody leaves himself with a tricky red using the rest. He makes the pot but fails to land on pink or black and is forced into another long blue.

But once again, it's right into the heart of the pocket, and he played it confidently, screwing back for an easy red. A black follows, and he is into snookers required.

Ding 2-3 Moody (0-49)

Again, Moody loses the cue ball, and he is left without an easy colour. He crunches a superb long blue into the yellow pocket, though, and keeps the break alive with a nicely-struck mid-distance red.

He has recovered well once again. Can he keep more control over the white now to see out this frame?

Ding 2-3 Moody (0-29)

Moody knocks in a long red and is immediately in and amongst the balls, with the reds split nicely for a hefty contribution.

The 18-year-old just loses the cue ball slightly and is forced into a trickier red than he would have hoped into the left centre, but it's in the heart of the pocket, and he is back in decent position.

Thepchaiya makes maxi

Thepchaiya Un-Nooh has just made his second 147 of the season and the sixth of his career to win his match against Pang Junxu.

Ding 2-3 Moody

Ding pots the first red, but then misses the blue into the yellow bag, and Moody can return to the table to seal this frame and take the lead for the first time in the match.

Our attention now turns to the contest between Ding Junhui and Stan Moody, with the scores level after the opening four frames.

Moody is 57-1 up in the fifth, but Ding is back at the table, looking to make the counter-clearance.

Higgins 5-1 Emery

Higgins finishes off with a break of 80, and he is comfortably through to the next round, where he will face either Artemijs Zizins or Yuan Sijun.

The Scot went 1-0 down at the start of the contest, but has since cruised to victory with breaks of 79, 50 and 54 before his highest break of 80 in the final frame.

Higgins goes crashing into the remaining bunch of reds off the blue, sending them across the table, and he lands perfectly on one into the right corner.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't finish the match off here now, they are all there for the taking.

Higgins 4-1 Emery (33-0)

Higgins reaches 19 and canons nicely into the bunch off the black, freeing a few more reds to pick off.

He requires the rest for his next one, with the cue ball just drifting towards the side cushion, but he plays it well, landing nicely on the pink to get himself back in prime position.

So can Higgins close out this match now? After a cagey start to the sixth frame, Emery's containing safety shot leaves Higgins a red into the left centre.

It's dispatched by the Scot who pots a nice green to come back down for the reds. This is a real match-winning opportunity now for the four-time world champion.

Higgins makes a solid break of 43, taking him 44 points ahead with just 43 points left on the table, but misses a double into the right centre, which would have put the frame out of sight.

Emery comes back to the table and pots a nice long red but misses the subsequent pink, so that will be that as Higgins extends his lead to three.

With Higgins looking set to make a sizeable break, he misses a routine black off the spot, cutting it slightly too thin.

But his mistake goes unpunished, with Emery missing a similarly routine red into the opposite corner pocket.

Emery plays a really telling safety shot, leaving Higgins tucked right behind the brown, and the Scot feels he is only left with the smash-and-hope option.

He gets away with it somewhat, only leaving Emery a tricky red into the left centre, and the Welshman catches the near jaw, leaving Higgins an easy starter into the opposite centre pocket.

After a single long red to start this fifth frame, Higgins gets himself in once more with another red from distance, but he misses the subsequent pink with the rest into the green pocket, leaving Emery among the balls.

The 24-year-old makes a break of 14 but loses position and is forced to play safe off a red, sending the cue ball down to baulk.

Higgins leads at mid-session interval

Our focus this morning will be on John Higgins' clash with Dylan Emery, and it's the veteran Scot who leads 3-1 at the mid-session interval.

The 24-year-old had taken a 1-0 lead with a break of 70, but Higgins has turned the tie in his favour with breaks of 79, 50 and 54.

The winner of this match will face either Artemijs Zizins or Yuan Sijun.
