A "disrespectful" tweener from Corentin Moutet caused quite the stir at the French Open - much to the amusement of Novak Djokovic and the TNT Sports commentators.
An enthralling second-set rally on Court Suzanne-Lenglen between Djokovic and his French opponent ended in spectacular fashion, with the Serb leading 5-2.
As Djokovic chased down a lob shot, Moutet manoeuvred into position at the net and flicked the ball between his legs, landing it out of his opponent’s reach.
"Oh no!" laughed TNT Sports commentator Simon Reed.
"You can’t do that, that’s disrespectful!" joked Paul Hand.
"He’d looked a fool if he had missed it," added Reed. "A circus! He had to manoeuvre to get in position to hit this."
"It’s just cheeky!" added Hand.
Djokovic took it in good spirits, though, laughing the moment off as the Roland-Garros crowd rose to their feet to applaud the bold effort of the Frenchman.
