Champions crowned in the MWI and Free Fire tournaments at the Esports World Cup

Team Vitality secured their fourth MWI title while Lyon earned the Free Fire trophy in today’s action at the Esports World Cup, while we had the Grand Finals for the League of Legends and Dota 2 tournaments confirmed.

Two champions were crowned today at the Esports World Cup as we witnessed the Grand Finals of both the MWI and Free Fire tournaments while we also saw the last day of playoff action from Dota 2 and League of Legends.
Team Vitality secured the title and the $150,000 as they convincingly beat Natus Vincere 4-2 in the Grand Final, while Geltek Cyber Team finished third.
The team defended their title, and in doing this, it now means they have won their fourth title in this competition, making them one of the most successful teams across Esports.
They displayed exceptional teamwork, composure, and resilience throughout the tournament to lift the trophy.
Meanwhile, the winners of the Free Fire tournament were Lyon, and as they lifted the trophy, they also managed to get their hands on a prize of $300,000.
After the 10-series final stage of the competition, Lyon would emerge victorious as they scored 155 points in what would be a comfortable victory in the end, as second-placed AG.AL would only score 122 points.
The bronze would go to Loud, as they could only score 111 points, with fourth place secured by Twisted Minds, who secured a total of 103 points.
Then in the Dota 2 semi-finals we witnessed two breathtaking matches as we discovered who will be competing for the trophy in the Grand Final tomorrow.
BB Team will now square off with PVision as the pair managed to progress past Vici Gaming and Team Yandex, respectively, with the latter two set to compete in the third-place playoff.
We also know who will be competing in the Grand Final of the League of Legends tournament after T1 and Karmine Corp squared off in one semi-final while Gen.G Esports faced DPlus Kia in the other.
Now, after today's action, we know that Karmine Corp will face DPlus Kia in the Grand Final, while T1 and Gen.G Esports will fight it out for third place.
