Laporta provides Rashford update
Barcelona chief Joan Laporta has spoken about the prospect of keeping Marcus Rashford beyond this season.
Rashford joined Barcelona from Manchester United on a season-long loan last summer and has since racked up 23 goal contributions across 38 appearances.
Amid speculation La Blaugrana will do their utmost to keep the England international beyond the current campaign, Laporta told RAC1, via Fabrizio Romano: "We will try - in Barca’s interest - to ensure that Marcus Rashford can continue with us beyond this season.
"Marcus is performing very well with assists and goals. We’re happy."
Man City and Bayern Munich target Arsenal’s Berta
According to French publication Foot Mercato, Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta is attracting the interest of Manchester City, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
Berta, who arrived at Arsenal last year, was central to the deals that brought the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze and Martin Zubimendi to Emirates Stadium.
With The Gunners on course for their first Premier League title since 2003/04, and through to a UEFA Champions League quarter-final, Berta has piqued the interest of Europe’s elite.

The Foot Mercato report read: "The current sporting director of Arsenal and architect of Viktor Gyokeres' arrival last summer, Andrea Berta, is attracting the attention of several major European clubs.
"According to our information, Bayern Munich, the current Bundesliga leaders, are closely monitoring the 54-year-old Italian, despite already having two sporting directors in their ranks: Max Eberl and Christoph Freund.
"Having signed Hugo Viana last year, Manchester City are also reportedly interested in Berta should Pep Guardiola leave, potentially triggering a major overhaul within the club. In France, Monaco appreciate his profile, particularly if Thiago Scuro departs."

Dortmund open to Sancho reunion
Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Jadon Sancho for a third time, according to Sport Bild.
Sancho, who has spent the season on loan at Aston Villa, will see his Manchester United contract expire in the summer, five years after he departed Dortmund for Old Trafford in a reported £73 million deal.
Sancho cemented himself among the world’s best wingers at the Westfalenstadion before his ill-fated United switch. He then rejoined Dortmund on a short-term loan in 2024, helping them reach the UEFA Champions League final.
As per Bild, Dortmund are keen on signing the 25-year-old for a third time, should he be open to a pay cut.
The report claims: "While opinions in the executive suite were divided for months regarding the player, they are now finding an increasingly strong consensus.

"Sporting director Sebastian Kehl (46) has always been a supporter of Sancho, seeing him as a clear game-changer. Now, sporting director Lars Ricken (49) is also increasingly warming to the idea of bringing Sancho back.
"His name is now being hotly debated internally, with arguments for and against being exchanged. The pendulum is now swinging more strongly in favour. A return is truly realistic."
The report adds: "The fact that coach Niko Kovac (54) has also been brought on board proves how concrete the plan is. The club's management spoke with the Croatian about Sancho.
"And anyone who thinks that Kovac, the epitome of discipline and commitment, immediately rejected the idea is mistaken. He takes a pragmatic view of the situation, aware of Sancho's sometimes complicated personality, but also of his great strengths.
"The return would likely no longer fail because of him. But it also seems clear: Sancho would have to adjust under Kovac. During both of his stints at BVB, he was repeatedly late for meetings - if he showed up at all. A consensus is growing among the bosses."
David to leave Juventus
As per TuttoSport, Juventus are prepared to sanction Jonathan David’s departure at the end of the season.
The Canadian joined the Turin side on a free transfer last summer, after a fruitful period in Ligue 1, where he netted 109 goals in 232 appearances for Lille.

However, David has struggled to make an impact at Juventus, with the club reportedly open to his departure. West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest have all expressed an interest in the past.
TuttoSport’s report reads: "In January, before taking [Lorenzo] Lucca on loan with an option to buy from Napoli, Nottingham Forest made an attempt.
"Tottenham and West Ham also pursued the Canadian forward a year ago. We'll see.
"Juventus now appear ready to listen to potential offers to cash in and capitalise on the departure of David, who has scored only seven goals in Serie A and the Champions League so far.
"David arrived on a free transfer, and his sale would generate a substantial capital gain for Juventus. This money would be useful for giving Luciano Spalletti an offensive reinforcement more suited to the characteristics the coach needs to mold his Juventus team."
