A breathless game at St James' Park saw Newcastle and Luton Town share eight goals in a back-and-forth 4-4 draw. Sean Longstaff scored twice for The Magpies either side of a Gabriel Osho strike for the visitors before goals from Ross Barkley, Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo gave the Hatters a shock 4-2 advantage. Kieran Trippier and Harvey Barnes were able to salvage a point for the home side.
