Arsenal parade: Gunners celebrate Premier League triumph after UEFA Champions League heartbreak as Declan Rice serenades fans with rap

Thousands of Arsenal supporters took to the streets of North London on Sunday to celebrate the team's Premier League title victory.

The open-top bus parade took place a day after Mikel Arteta's team had lost on penalties to Paris-Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League final, with defender Gabriel missing the decisive attempt.
But there was no sign of any lingering sadness from Saturday's result, with Arsenal supporters turning out in their droves to honour the team's players for ending the 22-year wait to become champions of England again.
And that party atmosphere was felt by the players too, in particular Declan Rice.
From the top deck, Rice joined in with chants of "set piece again, ole, ole" - an homage to Arsenal's success from dead-ball situation - as well as rapping Vanilla Ice's 'Ice, Ice Baby,' a song used by fans to serenade the midfielder.
"They’re pointing and they’re laughing. And what happened? They’re not laughing anymore," Rice told Sky Sports. "I love this team. I love this manager."

Fans lined the streets of North London with flares and flags, airing plenty of chants as the buses were ushered along their route.
The convoy was made up of four buses, with the lead vehicle made up of the men's squad and the Premier League trophy adorning the front.
The second bus was for the men's staff and the third for the Arsenal women's team, who were able to celebrate their FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.
The final bus was a "celebration of our community" with a selection of supporters and "staff members nominated by their peers for their outstanding contribution to our club," the club said.
The buses followed a five-mile loop that included Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road, Petherton Road, Essex Road and Upper Street.

They began their parade at 14:00 UK time, with the buses pulling into the Emirates Stadium two-and-a-half hours later to conclude the celebrations.

Pictures showed the streets full of Arsenal fans and even the rooftops of buildings lining the route filled with people trying to get a glimpse of the buses.
A red mist marked the route as a cacophony of flares lit their way around North London.
"I mean there are no words to describe this moment," Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli told Sky Sports. "This is for the fans, for the staff, for everyone, for the players.
"We’ve been trying to give our best on the pitch for us and for them as well. And today it’s amazing. You [fans] just need to enjoy."
Arsenal's trophy parade came on the same day three of their men's players were named in the Champions League team of the season.
David Raya, Gabriel and Rice were all named in the XI after producing commanding displays on the way to the final.

During the parade, Raya - who won the Premier League Golden Glove award for the third time - paid tributes to his family for helping him along the way.
"To read a message from my mum is incredible," the Spaniard told Sky Sports.
"She says I’m the brave one but I think the brave ones were them, leaving their son at 16 years old to go to another country, another culture, with no English.
"I have to thank them because if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be where I am today."
