ARSENAL EXTEND ADVANTAGE AT THE TOP WITH HUGE WIN AT BRIGHTON
Bukayo Saka marked his 300th Arsenal appearance with a vital goal as The Gunners extended their lead at the Premier League summit to seven points courtesy of a 1-0 victory at Brighton.
The England winger opened the scoring on nine minutes when he cut in from the right and saw his shot deflect and somehow squirm through Seagulls goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.
It was a bitter blow for the hosts who had gone so close just moments earlier when the imperious Gabriel headed Carlos Baleba’s chip off the line following an error from David Raya.

Brighton pushed for an equaliser following the break but both Georginio Rutter and Mats Wieffer missed good openings.
The result means Arsenal have moved further clear of rivals Manchester City, who were held at home to Nottingham Forest.
Pep Guardiola’s men still have a game in hand, but they have just nine matches left to reel Mikel Arteta’s side back in.
The Gunners now switch focus to the FA Cup fifth round where their quadruple bid continues away to Mansfield on Saturday afternoon. Brighton are out of the cup and are next in action at Sunderland in the Premier League on March 14.

FORMER ARSENAL DEFENDER MARTIN KEOWN REACTS ON TNT SPORTS
Man City have drawn 2-2 with Nottingham Forest which means Arsenal are now SEVEN points clear at the top.
"A massively significant night," said Keown at Amex Stadium.
"And we said at the start of the night, this might be the game… You go and win it and you know, your biggest rival Man City slipping up …
"Honestly it was torturous to watch it, but Gabriel, his performance at the back was absolutely immense."
DID YOU KNOW?
This was Arsenal’s 10th Premier League victory by a one-goal margin this season; only in 2003-04 have they ever had more one-goal victories at this stage of a season in the competition (12) - via Opta.
