Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal result - The Gunners lift Premier League trophy after Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus goals secure final-day win

Premier League champions Arsenal rounded off their 2025/26 domestic season in style, clinching a 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace with goals from Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke.

Despite Mikel Arteta naming a heavily rotated team with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, William Saliba, Gabriel and David Raya outside the starting XI, Arsenal claimed all three points at Selhurst Park.

It took 42 minutes for Jesus to break the deadlock, fizzing the ball past Dean Henderson after being set up by Gabriel Martinelli.

Madueke then doubled the Gunners’ advantage just after the interval, firing sweetly on the volley after half-time substitute Kai Havertz had intelligently nodded down from a Martin Zubimendi corner.

Jean-Philippe Mateta, on as a late substitute, scored a consolation goal for Palace on 89 minutes with a fine header from a Yeremy Pino cross.

Pino briefly thought he had scored a dramatic 91st-minute equaliser only to be denied due to the ball flicking off the chest of the offside Evann Guessand.

For Arsenal, it was the perfect way to end the campaign and gain some confidence before next Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.

Palace cannot say the same as Oliver Glasner’s Premier League stint ends in defeat but The Eagles were always more focused on Wednesday’s UEFA Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano, also live on TNT Sports.

Arsenal's magnitude of backroom staff - as well as the families of many - are out of the tunnel and onto the pitch, where Mikel Arteta and his players will soon head.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has been lapping up applause on the Selhurst Park pitch, where the Premier League stage is set up, waiting for Martin Odegaard to lift the trophy.

Mikel Arteta and his squad are expected to emerge from the tunnel imminently.

Ahead of Arsenal's trophy lift, Oliver Glasner has been on the microphone at the centre of the Selhurst Park pitch.

Glasner, who led Palace to their first-ever major trophy (the 2024/25 FA Cup), has been saying his goodbyes to the supporters following his final home game in charge of the Eagles.

The Austrian was sure to celebrate the achievements of today's opponents.

"Congratulations to Arsenal on winning the Premier League. You really deserved it," Glasner said.
