Wolves 2-2 Arsenal result - Debutant Tom Edozie stuns Premier League leaders with last-gasp equaliser at Molineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers came from two goals down to stun Arsenal, holding the Premier League leaders to a shock 2-2 draw at Molineux.

Wolves youngster Tom Edozie came off the bench to score a dramatic 94th-minute equaliser, marking a dream debut and earning the hosts a deserved point following a determined second-half display.

Hugo Bueno scored a beautiful goal to halve the deficit on 61 minutes, curling into the top left-hand corner from the edge of the area. But not even head coach Rob Edwards could have expected what was to come, as Wolves scored again at the death to claim only their tenth point of the season.

It had all started so well for Arsenal, as Bukayo Saka, playing in an auxiliary No. 10 role, took just five minutes to break the deadlock. Saka had been on a 15-game goal drought - the longest of his career so far - but he ended his wait with a deft header from a Declan Rice cross.

Arsenal doubled their lead through Piero Hincapie, who toe-poked into the roof of the net after latching onto a Gabriel through pass soon after half-time. The assistant's flag was raised to begin with before VAR ruled that Hincapie was onside.

Hincapie, getting off the mark in the English top flight, became the 15th Arsenal player to score a Premier League goal this season. But even a two-goal lead away at the table-footers wasn't enough, as Wolves fought back valiantly to claim a shock point.

It's the first time in Premier League history a team top of the table has let a two-goal lead slip against a team in the relegation zone. Nearest challengers Manchester City will be licking their lips as Arsenal, now with just two wins in their last seven Premier League games, show further signs of weakness.

Assessing the situation, Steve McManaman told TNT Sports: "Well, yes, (Manchester City) can put real pressure on them.

"Arsenal have got Spurs at the weekend, of course Spurs with a new manager so that’ll be a difficult game in itself. But its up to Manchester City now to really ramp up the pressure, of course.

"They have to play each other, they have to play each other at the Etihad in April. So it just gets a little bit more feisty and a little bit more nervy for the neutral."
