Liverpool and Chelsea's battle to make next season's UEFA Champions League will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and HBO Max. Both clubs have endured underwhelming campaigns that can be salvaged should they secure an all-important spot in Europe's premier competition. And who secures that final place could be decided with The Blues’ Premier League trip to Anfield on May 9.

As we approach the business end of the season, TNT Sports will be serving up a key Premier League encounter in the race to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
The Reds' £400 million summer outlay has not yet yielded the expected results on the pitch, with calls for head coach Arne Slot to be removed having grown louder throughout the Dutchman’s second season in charge.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have struggled under new boss Liam Rosenior, winning only four of their past 12 games and losing on six occasions, including an 8-2 aggregate Champions League mauling against Paris Saint-Germain.
But despite the respective underwhelming campaigns, things will feel rosier for fans and owners should a spot for next season’s Champions League be confirmed.
Whether it is Liverpool or Chelsea that secures that precious final Champions League spot may be decided on the Blues’ trip to Anfield on May 9, which will be live on TNT Sports and available to stream on HBO Max.

The reverse fixture saw a Moises Caicedo wonder-strike and an Estevao goal give Chelsea a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge and subject their Merseyside opponents to a third defeat in a row. Indeed, the loss was part of a dismal run that saw Liverpool lose nine times in 12 games in all competitions.
But Liverpool's form has recovered somewhat, while things tend to be different at Anfield, with Slot’s side having lost just three times at home this term.
With a Champions League spot likely on the line and Reds legend Mohamed Salah playing his penultimate game in front of the Liverpool faithful, the atmosphere will likely be raucous.
