Manchester United's remarkable run of form continued with a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur live on TNT Sports on Saturday lunchtime. Goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Bruno Fernandes made it four successive wins for Michael Carrick's side, and defender Luke Shaw heaped praise on the club's interim head coach. The 30-year-old revealed the major factor in Carrick's early success.

Luke Shaw has highlighted the biggest difference interim head coach Michael Carrick has made since replacing Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.
The Red Devils have won four successive Premier League games under Carrick, beating Manchester City, Arsenal, Fulham and, most recently, Tottenham Hotspur, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
And long-serving left-back Shaw pointed to former midfielder Carrick's familiarity with the club as an important factor.
"He’s made lots of differences," Shaw told talkSPORT. "But for me, the biggest one is he knows the club, and he knows exactly what’s needed to win football matches, to make everyone happy and to enjoy what we’re doing.
"He’s, of course, won a lot when he was here as a player. So he understands the club, and I think that’s the biggest thing for me. He knows how to get the best out of the players, and he’s really doing that."
There is a newfound feel-good factor at Old Trafford, with victory over Spurs on Saturday keeping Carrick's side fourth and in pole position to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

"Of course, the culture is extremely important, and day in, day out, how we are as a team, how the mentality is, how the focus is," Shaw added.
"How we push each other day in, day out, that’s one thing Carrick has brought in, and I think everyone’s just really enjoying themselves at the moment.
"You see how important not just the starting XI are, it’s the ones that are coming off the bench as well, making an impact.
"Even when we score in the celebrations, it’s not just the players on the pitch. It’s the ones on the bench that are running around and celebrating, too. And I think that shows a real togetherness."
Bruno Fernandes, who scored his side's second goal against Spurs, also reserved praise for Carrick in the aftermath of Saturday's win.

"I think Michael came in with the right idea of giving the players the freedom to take responsibility on the pitch to do the decisions that were needed," the Portuguese told TNT Sports.
"I think he remembers what I told him the last time he was manager. I think Michael could be a great manager, and he’s just shown it.
"We hope we can help him even more, so everyone can see we are good players. That’s why we are at Man Utd.
"I think everyone understands the pressure of playing for this club. Everyone knows the expectations around it.
