Man Utd want Rashford-Osimhen exchange
Manchester United would be interested in swapping Marcus Rashford for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray but has been linked with a move away from the Turkish giants in January.
"Marcus Rashford is at the centre of a stunning swap deal involving Napoli striker Victor Osimhen," notes The Sun.
"The £60 million-rated Manchester United forward has snubbed three offers from Saudi Arabia - worth up to £675,000 a week - because he wants to win back his England place.
"A move to another European club would give Rashford a platform to do that with Napoli’s former Tottenham boss Antonio Conte looking at a deal for the disillusioned star.
"Under-fire United manager Ruben Amorim is desperate to strengthen this month and Conte’s interest in Rashford, 27, has opened the door to signing Osimhen.
"The Nigerian - who has a £62m release clause - is on loan at Galatasaray but United could land the 26-year-old this month."
Walker could link up with Ronaldo
The Sun believes Kyle Walker could link up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.
According to the outlet, Al Nassr are one of three Saudi Pro League clubs interested in offering the 34-year-old an escape route from Manchester City.
The full-back has come in for criticism during City's poor run of just two victories in 14 league games.
"Kyle Walker remains a big January transfer target for oil-rich clubs in Saudi Arabia," the article reads.
"The Manchester City skipper, 34, is having a tough season but has 18 months left on his Etihad contract.
"Walker admitted he would ‘never say never’ when a Middle East move was first on the horizon last year - despite knocking it back to chase more silverware under Pep Guardiola.
"Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad are all believed to still be keen on talking to the England defender.
"But a move away from City is more likely in the summer than during the January window as Guardiola’s squad is badly hit by injuries."
Real Madrid step up interest in Saliba
Arsenal are bracing themselves for a world-record bid for a defender as Real Madrid are reportedly keen on William Saliba.
A report in The Sun claims Los Blancos are considering a bid for the France international at the end of the season – but it could cost them up to £83 million.
"Arsenal defender William Saliba has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for Real Madrid," writes the outlet.
"The Frenchman has firmly established himself as one of Europe's top defenders over the last two years.
"And his impressive form has attracted interest from some Champions League rivals.
"Spanish outlet SPORT claims Real Madrid could launch a bid to sign him at the end of the season.
"But they will likely have to fork out at least £83 million for him - which would be a world record fee for a defender.
"The report also claims Real Madrid chiefs sounded out Saliba's entourage and received a positive response."
Liverpool not looking TO sell Nunez
Liverpool are unlikely to sell Darwin Nunez to AC Milan this month without having a replacement lined up, claims the Mail.
The Uruguay international has found the net just four times this season, despite The Reds leading the Premier League table after a fine start under Arne Slot.
The Mail writes: "AC Milan are yet to contact Liverpool in regards to a move for Darwin Nunez in the January transfer window.
"Reports in Italy earlier this week had claimed AC Milan were plotting a move for the striker.
"The move would have initially been on a six-month loan, with a £41.5m obligation to buy in the summer.
"However, Mail Sport understands that Liverpool have heard nothing from the Italian giants in regards to the forward.
"Although it is still extremely early in the January transfer window and things can change, it is unlikely that Liverpool would permit Nunez a move away without having a replacement lined up."
Villa not giving up on Malen
Aston Villa are continuing to negotiate with Borussia Dortmund over a move for Donyell Malen.
That is according to the Mail, which claims Villa had an opening offer rejected earlier this week.
"Negotiations between the two clubs continue after Villa's opening £15 million plus bonuses offer fell short of the £25m fee the Bundesliga outfit are looking to receive," states the outlet.
"This week, Mail Sport revealed that Unai Emery's side had rekindled their interest in the 25-year-old.
"Malen can play across the front line, predominantly on the right wing, and would give Villa extra pace plus depth and quality for Emery in attacking positions.
"The Netherlands international has 18 months remaining on his contract at the Westfalenstadion.
"Malen also has a strong rapport with Villa left-back Ian Maatsen, the two having played together at Dortmund and through the national team set-up."
