The Italian journalist claims a meeting between the two parties on Tuesday proved unsuccessful, with the striker's wage demands higher than the club were willing to offer.
"No further meetings" are expected to take place, meaning Vlahovic is likely to be a free agent when his contract expires at the end of June.
That could alert several top clubs in Europe, with Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Barcelona all reportedly interested in the 26-year-old.
Vlahovic scored 10 goals in 23 appearances for Juventus in an injury-hit 2025/26 season.
He has been a consistent goal scorer for the "Old Lady" since joining the club from Fiorentina in January 2022.

Man Utd send scout to watch Kalulu
Manchester United have watched Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu ahead of a potential bid this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Red Devils reportedly sent scouts to the San Siro for the goalless draw between AC Milan and Juve in April.
The report claims a move "cannot be ruled out", though the asking price of "at least" €40 million (£34m) could prove to be a sticking point.
Kalulu, who can play as both a centre-back and a right-back, made 49 appearances in all competitions in 2025/26.

Juventus could be forced to sell players to increase revenue after missing out on qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
A sizeable bid for Kalulu, then, could prove tempting, but the Bianconeri instead want to cash in on Andrea Cambiaso, Federico Gatti, Lois Openda, Jonathan David, Teun Koopmeiners and Michele Di Gregorio.
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in Kalulu, but Corriere dello Sport claims his departure in this transfer window is "unlikely".
Juve add Kluivert to summer shortlist
Juventus want to sign Bournemouth winger Justin Kluivert this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian outlet claims the Dutch international could be targeted as an alternative to Real Madrid's Brahim Diaz, who is also on Juve's radar.
Kluivert, 27, will be "under close observation" by Bianconeri officials at this summer's World Cup, after injuries hampered his 2025/26 campaign with Bournemouth.
He excelled in 2024/25, though, scoring 13 goals in all competitions and establishing himself as one of the Premier League's most threatening wide players.
Kluivert has played in Serie A previously with Roma, and Juventus are said to be keen to bring him back to Italy's top flight.
Diaz remains manager Luciano Spalletti's "preference", though, and it remains to be seen if a bid will be submitted for the Bournemouth star.
Atubolu attracting Premier League interest
Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu is on the radar of top clubs across Europe, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The 24-year-old has caught the eye in the Bundesliga and UEFA Europa League, helping his side to the final of the latter competition in 2025/26.
Plettenberg claims clubs in England, Spain, Germany and Italy are all "monitoring the situation closely", with Atubolu's Freiburg contract running until 2027.
He reportedly already has "offers on the table", but has turned down "concrete proposals".
Atubolu is said to be "relaxed" and clearly in no rush to make a decision on his next move.
