The latest European transfer news sees Manchester United linked with a move for a Barcelona midfielder as part of a deal to secure Marcus Rashford a permanent move to the club. Barcelona president Joan Laporta has said the doors at the club are "always open" to Lionel Messi, while Real Madrid could listen to offers for midfielder Eduardo Camavinga this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly keen on adding a player to a potential deal for Barcelona to secure a permanent move for Marcus Rashford.

Rashford has been on loan at Barca this season and, according to El Nacional, has "won over" the coaching staff at the club with his performances.

However, Barca are keen to reduce the €30 million (£26m) buy-out clause for Rashford in the summer.

Man Utd reportedly have no intention of reducing the price, but have proposed including Marc Casado in the deal.

The proposal would reportedly see Casado join United and Barca pay around €10m (£8.5m) for Rashford.

Casado, 22, has come through the Barca youth academy but has not been a regular first-team starter this season.

'Doors open' to Messi at Barca

Joan Laporta says the doors at Barcelona are "always open" to Lionel Messi after he was re-elected as club president.

Laporta won the presidential election ahead of Victor Font after receiving 68.18% of the votes.

Asked about Messi, Laporta told TV3: "Leo will be linked to Barcelona in whatever way he wants to be.

"He deserves a tribute [match] and also a statue. That would be hugely significant. Only Ladislao Kubala and Johan Cruyff have statues at the stadium. 

"The doors at Barca are always open to him, whenever he wishes, so that he can continue to strengthen and bring greatness to this institution."

Messi scored 672 goals in 781 games for Barcelona and has previously said he hopes to return "not just to say goodbye as a player".

Madrid could sell Camavinga

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to listen to offers for midfielder Eduardo Camavinga this summer.

The France international is under contract until 2029 but has not been a regular starter this season for Madrid.

According to transfer reporter Matteo Moretto on Radio Marca, Camavinga "could leave if a good offer comes in".

Liverpool are among the clubs to have been linked with a move for Camavinga.

Chelsea interest in Kim

Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae.

Kim has often been behind Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah in the centre-back pecking order this season for Bayern.

Bild’s Christian Falk reports that Kim is not planning to ask for a transfer, but Bayern might have talks if there is an offer of €30m (£26m) or €40m (£34.5m) on the table.

Kim is under contract with Bayern until 2028.

Will David leave Juventus?

Marseille are among the teams interested in signing Juventus forward Jonathan David, according to Tuttosport.

David only joined Juve last summer, but could reportedly be sold to raise money for the transfer window.

Marseille could be a contender to sign the forward if they qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, while Lyon have also been linked with a move.

It is also reported that a move to the Premier League should not be ruled out.
