In Wednesday's Euro Transfer News round-up, Real Madrid apparently want to activate Nico Paz's buy-back clause and Roma are reportedly targeting a deal for Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee. That is not all though. Reports suggest AC Milan will offer Mike Maignan a new deal and Bazoumana Toure is apparently attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League.

Roma eye Zirkzee as top target
Italian outlet Il Messaggero has reported that Serie A side Roma will try to sign Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee when the January transfer window opens.
The Red Devils brought the Dutch star from Bologna to Old Trafford in the summer of 2024, but he has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League.
Zirkzee is yet to score in six appearances across all competitions so far this season, and now there are rumours that he could be on his way back to Italy.
Roma are top of Serie A after 12 matches, and Il Messaggero say they are eager to bolster their attacking options. Â
"January is approaching, and [sporting director Frederic] Massara has been working for weeks to please [head coach Gian Piero] Gasperini," read the article.
"Roma enjoys their top spot in the league, but to remain competitive, the coach expects some signings.
"All eyes are on the centre forward. The No. 1 target remains Zirkzee."
Madrid to activate Paz buy-back clause
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano believes that Real Madrid will try to bring Nico Paz back to the Bernabeu at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Paz left Los Blancos to join Como in August 2024 after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by, but he has excelled in Serie A.
The 21-year-old Argentina international has produced five goals and four assists in 12 Serie A appearances this season.
Romano says that a buy-back clause in his contract will become active when the 2025/26 season draws to a close.
"Real Madrid are planning to bring back Nico Paz as their first signing for 2026, as revealed months ago," Romano posted on X, formerly Twitter.
"Understand the buy-back clause is NOT valid in January, and Como want to keep him until summer.
"The plan is to make the deal happen in June 2026.
"Nico already said YES."
Milan offer Maignan a new deal
AC Milan have reportedly offered goalkeeper Mike Maignan a new contract in an attempt to ward off interest from several Premier League clubs and Italian giants Juventus.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from the San Siro for some time, having established himself as France's first-choice goalkeeper.
Milan are currently second in the Serie A table, just two points behind leaders Roma, and Maignan has been key to that success.

Gazzetta dello Sport say that the door is still open for Maignan to sign a new deal.
"The club has attempted to reopen the door to dialogue: if Mike wants to stay at the Rossoneri, the penultimate proposal will still be valid," read the article.
"On the table is a contract extension for another two or three seasons at €5 million net per year (up from €4 million).
"This represents a significant salary increase from the current €3.2 million, despite his advancing age: unusual generosity for a player who has already turned thirty."
Toure attracting Premier League interest
Florian Plettenberg says that several Premier League clubs are interested in signing Hoffenheim youngster Bazoumana Toure.
The 19-year-old star has impressed in the Bundesliga this term, producing four assists and one goal in 11 league appearances.
Plettenberg believes that several clubs are willing to pay a transfer fee in the region of €35 million (£30.7m).
Agent Gordon Stipic already has enquiries from the Premier League for Toure.
There are clubs willing to pay up to €35 million as early as the winter window.
Hoffenheim, however, want to sell the winger no earlier than the summer. His contract runs until 2029.
