As per the report: ”Among the specialists monitored by the sporting director, Shea Charles is now standing out.
"The young midfielder, just 22 years old, is having a remarkable season with Southampton, a team currently seventh in the Championship and still with a chance of fighting for promotion.
”Although several Premier League and Serie A clubs are monitoring his progress, Manchester United currently has the best chance of signing him. This is partly due to the presence of Jason Wilcox within their organization.Â
”The current United technical secretary was responsible for identifying Charles when he worked in Manchester City's youth academy and maintains a close relationship with the player and his entourage.”

Ugarte expected to leave Man Utd
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claimed that Manuel Ugarte could leave Manchester United this summer, meaning the Old Trafford club may potentially be in the market for two midfielders.Â
Romano said on his YouTube channel: ”According to my information, Manuel Ugarte could also leave Manchester United in the summer. Some movements have already started to find a solution for Manuel Ugarte.
”So you can imagine that with Casimiro leaving with Ugarte, it means that United need two more midfielders, and so the decision of the club is one guaranteed, but the second is starting to become almost guaranteed, as a new signing to do for Manchester United.
”So one for sure, 100%, but could be two. And this could be becoming a will in these conversations internally at Manchester United.
”But it could be a very busy summer regarding midfielders, one for sure, and could become two, because around Manuel Ugarte, there is movement around Europe, several possibilities.
"The expectation is for Ugarte and Man Utd to part ways in the summer transfer window.”

Dortmund chief provides Sancho and Woltemade update
Borussia Dortmund managing director Lars Ricken responded to reports linking the Bundesliga club to Jadon Sancho and Nick Woltemade.
On Woltemade, who has struggled for form in his maiden campaign at Newcastle, Ricken dismissed links with Dortmund, telling Sport Bild: ”That's news to me. A cold track. And here too, we [already] have two of these profiles.”
On Sancho however, Ricken admitted Dortmund are considering signing the winger for a third time.
