Scott McTominay's penalty was the difference on the night as Scotland won the first leg of their UEFA Nations League promotion/relegation play-off in Piraeus.

It was a very tightly contested affair on Thursday night, without much goalmouth action to speak of until McTominay was fouled inside the box on the half hour mark. The Napoli midfielder was on hand to rifle home from 12 yards and put Scotland 1-0 up.

Steve Clarke's side continued to push forward in search of a second goal and ended the first half on top.
