Manchester United defender Luke Shaw had finally returned to first-team action under new manager Ruben Amorim, making three appearances coming off the bench after struggling with a long-term problem. The 29-year-old will now miss Wednesday's match at Arsenal, however, after he confirmed he had suffered a minor injury that would hamper his return to full fitness.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw announced on social media that he has suffered a "small setback" in his recovery from a recent injury.
The England left-back had made substitute appearances in the recent matches against Ipswich Town, Bodo/Glimt and Everton after returning from a previous injury, the first games he had played in this season.
The 29-year-old has struggled to stay fit ever since he suffered a double leg fracture in 2015, playing more than 40 games in a season just three times since.
He had returned to fitness for new manager Ruben Amorim, but suffered another problem after the weekend’s 4-0 win over Everton, and did not travel with the United squad to London for Thursday’s match against Arsenal.
Shaw wrote on Instagram on Wednesday: "Hi guys, it's hurting a lot having to write this as I really thought I had got through my recent struggles and was on a positive path going forward, but unfortunately I've had a small setback.
"I've been through a lot of ups and downs but this has definitely been my toughest period. I'm absolutely devastated and it's extremely tough to come to terms with reality at this moment in time.

"I understand there is going to be people frustrated, angry, disappointed and I understand all of that. There is no one feeling that more than me at this moment in time.
"But what I can promise is I will do everything I can to come back better soon to help this club achieve its ambitions this season. Thank you to everyone for the support. It really doesn't go unnoticed and I really do appreciate it."

Another injury-hit United left-back, Tyrell Malacia, has featured just once for United this season.
Amorim’s 3-4-3 system means he may use more attacking players as wing-backs, having used Amad Diallo, Antony, Diogo Dalot and Malacia in the position on both flanks since arriving at the club.
