Only a wafer-thin margin separates Ally McCoist from Darren Fletcher in the standings as the Premier League season enters its final stretch.

Of course, we are all aware of what they are both playing for, with a costume forfeit and fancy dinner at stake, making each correct prediction a victory for the TNT Sports commentary duo.

This weekend sees a reduced number of Premier League games taking place due to the Emirates FA Cup semi-finals taking place at Wembley.

Fulham host Aston Villa on Saturday in the early kick-off, live on TNT Sports and HBO Max, as Unai Emery's side look to lock down UEFA Champions League football for next season against a Cottagers side still harbouring European hopes of their own.

With new leaders Manchester City in semi-final action against Southampton on Saturday, it is up to Arsenal to reclaim top spot when Newcastle visit the Emirates at 17:30.

Before that, at 15:00, Tottenham Hotspur's desperate battle to avoid a shock relegation continues when they travel to already-demoted Wolves in a must-win match for Roberto De Zerbi's side.

There are crucial matches at both ends of the table throughout the weekend, while the two FA Cup semi-finals - Chelsea facing Leeds United in the other - both also live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.

Fulham’s goalless draw at Brentford was one of the poorest games I’ve seen all season especially with both teams fighting for a European place. Fulham have also only scored once in their last six games. Villa are coming off the back of a brilliant 4-3 win over Sunderland where they could’ve lost the game. Tammy Abraham’s dramatic winner was vital and I think they’re going to win this one. I’m going for an away win.

Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Aston Villa

Fletch:

It's difficult to pick this. Based on what I saw from Fulham last week at Brentford, I was expecting more than I got. But they're at home in this one so they should be better. Aston Villa scored plenty against Sunderland but shipped a few as well, so I think there will be goals. I think Aston Villa will edge it.

Arsenal v Newcastle

Ally:

Newcastle cannot get a result at this moment in time – they are really struggling. Arsenal must approach the game in the same way they did against Manchester City last weekend, with an aggression to go forward and score goals. I think they’ll do just that and I think they’ll win the game comfortably.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Newcastle

Fletch:

It's big, this. Arsenal have got to win it. They can't slip up at home. Newcastle look like they're faltering at the minute, I think Eddie Howe is under pressure. So, I think Arsenal will win but I think they will concede.
